Presentation Guidelines, for oral and poster presenters · IHC2026, 23–28 August 2026, ICC Kyoto
For both oral and poster presenters. What you need to prepare before travelling to Kyoto, and what to do once you are at the venue.
Presentations at IHC2026 are handled on site. Nothing is submitted through a website, and nothing is set up in the session room itself.
Use Program Search to look up your presentation by author, title or presentation number. It gives your presentation number, date, time and room.
Your presentation number also tells you which guidelines apply to you: numbers containing P are poster presentations, and all others are oral presentations.
The online programme is the authoritative version. The programme book distributed at the venue is printed in advance and cannot show changes made after it went to press, such as withdrawals or time changes. Please check the online programme on the day of your session, and encourage the audience to do the same.
The Preview Center is the room where oral presentation files are handed in and checked before they are sent to the session room. It is the only place where files are accepted. Poster presenters do not need to visit it.

The presenting author must be registered and must have paid the registration fee to appear in the programme. Collect your name badge at the Registration Desk before going to the Preview Center or the poster area.

To make a PDF
Press Print and choose Save as PDF as the destination instead of a printer. Every
browser offers this, so no separate PDF file is needed.
The questions are included
Every answer in the Frequently asked questions section is opened automatically just before printing,
so nothing is left out, and the page returns to normal afterwards. The search box, the buttons and
this help window are not printed.
Web addresses are printed too
Links inside the questions are printed with their full address in brackets, so you can reach them from
the paper copy.
Check online before you rely on a printout
The printout carries the date and the address of this page. These guidelines are updated during the
congress, so a printed copy may be out of date.
Type a keyword
The list narrows as you type, every matching answer opens by itself, and the keyword is highlighted.
Both the questions and the answers are searched.
Two or more words narrow it further
Only entries containing all of the words are shown. Try poster deadline or preview
center.
Opening answers by hand
Select a question, or its ▼ marker, to open one answer. Expand all opens every
answer at once, and × in the search box returns you to the full list.
