Call for Abstracts

The plant reproductive phase comprises multiple developmental stages, including flowering induction, flower development, bud break, pollination, fertilization, fruit set, and fruit survival. Fundamental research in model plants, particularly Arabidopsis, has greatly enhanced our understanding of plant reproductive biology. While many aspects of reproduction are conserved across species, significant mechanistic variability exists at different developmental stages, reflecting the remarkable diversity within the plant kingdom.
This symposium aims to unite researchers studying the reproductive biology of model plants with those working on crop species, field crops, vegetables, and fruit trees. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across diverse research fields, we seek to bridge the gap between fundamental and applied plant science.
