All payment must be made in Japanese Yen (JPY).
All dates are in Japan Standard Time.

*Note that anyone who apply Early Bird must complete payment before the ending day of the Early Bird registration period (November 15, 2025). If they don’t, their registration will be cancelled, and they will have to reapply the registration with regular fees. 

**The category “Student” is for students at the time of registration. Those who apply for “Student” are requested to upload the student ID card indicating his/her student status in the registration process.

***Those who apply for “Developing country” are requested to upload the page of passport indicating his/her nationality in the registration process.

Developing country in the IHC2026 is considered for countries of “low-income economies ($1,145 or less in 2023)” and “lower-middle income economies ($1,146 to $4,515 in 2023)” defined by the World Bank for the current 2025 fiscal year, based on the gross national income (GNI) per capita, in U.S. dollars, converted from local currency. Please visit the World Development Indicators to see the category of your country/region.

ISHS membership holders who register in the category of either ISHS member, Student, or Developing country are granted the right to a presentation. The ISHS offers developing countries a discount on ISHS membership fees. In addition, for new applications for ISHS membership after July 31, 2025, ISHS will append membership for 2026 at no additional cost. See more information on the ISHS website.

Registration fee includes

  • ISHS member, non-ISHS member, Student, Developing country
    • Entry for all scientific sessions (oral and poster) as well as exhibition zone.
    • Opening ceremony and welcome reception on Aug. 23.
    • Congress kit
    • Access for digital program and abstracts
    • Complimentary lunch for Aug. 24, 25, 26, and 27
    • Coffee break
    • Access to the complete set of IHC2026 Acta Horticulturae proceedings in the e-Acta format  (except for Student)
    • Certificate of attendance
    • Opportunities for up to one oral and one poster presentation (primarily require ISHS membership or payment for abstract submission charge for non-ISHS members)
  • Accompanying person
    • Entry for exhibition zone
    • Opening ceremony and welcome reception on Aug. 23
    • Coffee break
    • Complimentary lunch for Aug. 24, 25, 26, and 27
      NOTE: Accompanying person is not allowed to enter scientific sessions and not given an opportunity for oral or poster presentation.
Followings are NOT included in all categories. Delegates need to apply for them in addition to registration for the congress.

  • One-day technical tour (only for the categories of ISHS member, non-ISHS member,Student,and Developing country), and scientific event on Aug. 28 (Fri).*
