Symposia

The scientific program for the IHC2026 comprises 27 fascinating symposia that reflect the theme of “Exploring the Diversity of Horticulture”.

This program has been developed with the contributions of the IHC2026 Scientific Program Committee, ISHS Division Chairs, and each symposium’s conveners and scientific committees.

Important Notes:

  • The submission period for regular presentation abstracts has now closed. Speakers requiring special arrangements (such as keynote speakers) should contact the conveners regarding abstract submission.
  • The presenting author will be requested to complete the registration and payment for the registration fee to be listed on the presentation program. If the abstract is rejected, the registration fee will be refunded upon request.
  • The final acceptance and presentation type will be notified to all authors simultaneously by May 2026 for reasons of structuring the timetable in the program. However, if funding sources require acceptance/rejection decisions before this date, authors may inquire with the conveners.
  • For your reference, a list of the breaking reports on the reviewing status and presentation methods, as confirmed by the conveners, is available via the following links.
  • Modification of the abstract is accepted through the abstract modification deadline, scheduled for the end of February. Please contact the conveners of the relevant symposium and the IHC2026 program administration office (p-ihc2026@convention.co.jp) to request modifications, to ensure that they are reflected in the program.
  • Manuscript for Acta Horticulturae proceedings submission deadline is 15 June 2026 (All oral presenters, including invited and keynote speakers, must submit a manuscript for Acta Horticulturae. Authors of posters are strongly encouraged to prepare and submit a manuscript for Acta Horticulturae.)

Please review the guidelines below for details on the preparation and submission of the Acta Horticulturae manuscript.

The contact details of the conveners are shown via the link on each symposium page.
